"Kaiserin Victoria" (Empress of India) is a dwarf, dark red leaved and rich flowering Nasturtium with glowing red flowers.
I is suitable for tubs, pots and balcony containers. It is also used to catch greenflies under fruit trees for biological production
The young leaves and flowers be used for salads.
No special soil requirements. But flowers will grow better in poor soil.
Nasturtium is sensitive to frost.

GERMINATION INSTRUCTIONS
Sow seeds indoors from February to May in trays of seed compost or directly in to the soil after the last frost from April to May.
Sow thinly, cover with 10-15 mm of soil. Firm gently, keep moist.
Seedlings appear in 14-21 days.
Seeds can be sown outdoors just after the last frost until the beginning of June.
Sow in prepared seed bed in flowering position.
Sow 2 seeds together with 30 cm between pairs. Cover lightly with 15 mm soil and keep moist till germination.
