Sow from January to July indoors in trays of seed compost.
Sow thinly, cover with 5 mm of fine compost. Firm gently and keep moist. Cover with glass, clear plastic or propagator lid.
Keep at +15-+20C. Seedlings appear in 14-21 days.
Remove cover then seedlings appear. Grow on at ~+10-+15C.
Transplant in to permanent position after the last frost 20 cm apart.
Remove dead flowers to prolong flowering. Keep moist and weed free.
