Plume Poppy (Macleaya Cordata) 50 seeds (#509)

Very rapid spreading, very tall perennial native to China and Japan.
Plume-poppy is cultivated as a garden plant, and readily persists in waste areas and around houses. Its plumes of white flowers bloom in July and August, atop clusters of large, dull green, deeply lobed leaves.
The handsome, deeply-lobed foliage is very large, to 50 cm wide. The leaves are blue-green above and whitish beneath.
Install new plants during autumn or early spring only. Pest and disease problems are very rare, if slugs do occur treat by spreading diatomacous earth on the soil around the plant.
