A truly spectacular 'reverse bicolour', with large fragrant flowers on long stems.
Ideal for cutting, climbing over trellis, fences or other support.
An easily grown plant, succeeding in any moderately good garden soil. It prefers a deep moist well-drained alkaline soil in a cool position. Prefers a position in full sun, growing well on hot sunny banks.

Outdoor sowing:
Sow from April to May in a prepared seed bed in flowering position.
Sow thinly, cover with 15 mm of fine soil. Firm gently and keep moist.
When large enough transplant 45 cm apart.
