Dragon Tree (Dracaena Draco green) 5 seeds (#1868)

The Dragon Tree ranks among the most interesting and eye-catching plants.
The leathery, sword-shaped leaves are dark green. Grows slowly up to 3 m inside and 6-10 m if grown in hot climate zones.
Dragon Tree is insensible against heat and air dryness. For this reason is perfect for central-heated rooms and winter gardens.
If growing conditions are too hot or too dry, brown leaf points appear.
Named "dragon’s blood" in ancient times due to its peculiar red sap, this tropical succulent tree is most unusual. It is native to just a small area on the Canary Islands off the west coast of Africa. Plants there withstand incredible drought and high humidity. In habitat they grow to a great age. In cooler and medium warm climates these are popular like houseplants only.

GERMINATION INSTRUCTIONS
Seeds can be sown all year long inside in pots.
Soak for a few hours and sow in depth of the seed size. Keep moist and very warm (min +25C).
Germination can take some time. Be patient.
