Strongly flavoured decorative leaves. A favourite in salads, easy to grow, even in containers.
Specifically bred for changeable weather conditions without bolting prematurely and have great tasting leaves.
Easy to grow. Very attractive, tangy indented leaves, ideal for pots. Good source of Vitamin C.
Leaves used in salads, they are very strongly flavoured of cress. The leaves have a hot flavour, very similar to rocket (Eruca vesicaria sativa) but more strongly flavoured - they make an excellent addition to a mixed salad but are too strong to be used in quantity on their own.
The plant is very productive, producing leaves from early spring until the autumn.

GERMINATION INSTRUCTIONS
Outdoors:
sow thinly, March-August, where they are to crop, 0.5cm (¼") deep, directly into finely-prepared, fertile, moisture-retentive soil, which has already been watered. Allow 25cm (10") between rows.
Early sowings may benefit from cloche protection. Seedlings usually appear in 7-21 days.
Water well and ensure soil remains moist to prevent plants running to seed. Thin out to 10cm (4") apart, using thinnings in salads. No thinning is necessary if only baby leaves are required.
Regular sowings, made every two to three weeks, will ensure a continuous supply.
Take a few leaves from each plant and this will give up to four cuts, or pick whole, mature plants. Harvest: May-October.
