A charming and unusual member of the poppy family from the mountain slopes of central China.
This hardy annual is rare in cultivation but strikingly beautiful in mixed borders or in a naturalistic rock gardens.
These poppies require full sun and poor to average, well drained soil. They thrive on hot, dry sites as well as a sandy soil and are good choice for seaside gardens.
