About the product

Charming and eye-catching flower. Grows up to 60 cm tall and 30 cm wide.
Clustered Bellflower is a useful perennial that brings early color and contrast to the garden. It features bouquets of eye-catching, violet-blue and white, upward facing, bell-shaped flowers, held in dense clusters. They sit atop sturdy leafy stems above basal rosettes of heart-shaped to oval green leaves. These clusters can have up to 15 flowers, therefore the common name of Clustered Bellflower. Blooming for 2-3 weeks from late spring to early summer, this spreading perennial does well in most soils.
Easy to grow, disease and pest free, deer and rabbit resistant and adored by hummingbirds, butterflies and bees.
Grows better in full sun or part shade, in average, well-drained rich soils. Needs regular moisture!

Sow from April to June inside, or from April to July - outside.
Since light is required for germination, do not cover the seed with germination mix or vermiculite after sowing.
The seed flats should be moistened and moved to a warm environment where temperatures can be maintained at +18-20C for germination. Many growers utilize germination chambers during this stage to provide uniform moisture levels and temperatures.
Seedlings will emerge over a period of time ranging from 10 to 18 days after sowing.
Following germination, reduce the moisture levels somewhat, allowing the growing medium to dry out slightly before watering to help promote rooting.
