Neon is a variety of Calendula which is a member of the Pot Marigold family. Its botanical name is Calendula officinalis 'Neon'.
Burgandy buds followed by ultra double brilliant orange flowers with darker edges.
This variety is an Flower that typically grows as an Annual, which is defined as a plant that matures and completes its lifecycle over the course of a single year. Neon is known for growing to a height of approximately 30.0 cm (11.7 inches). This variety tends to bloom from June to October from seedlings or 10-12 weeks from spring sowing of seeds - the flowers should be producing for 2-3 months.

GERMINATION INSTRUCTIONS
Sow inside in pots from February to March or outside March to June (you should look at sowing Neon about 35 days before your last frost date) and August to October.
Prepare the ground well and rake to a fine tilth before sowing. Sow 12mm deep, in rows 30cm apart. Germination - 7-21 days.
For spring/summer flowering pot plants:
Sow in a cool greenhouse or conservatory in late summer/early autumn. Grow on cool in full light and water sparingly.
Sow 5 mm deep with a guideline distance of 20 cm. For optimal germination, soil temperature should be a minimum of +10C / 50F.
