Begonia (Begonia Benariensis Big Red) 10 seeds (#1449)
Begonia × benariensis is a F1 hybrid wax begonia. It is an extremely popular begonia grown as an annual in the most climate zones.
It is a compact, bushy, mounded, fibrous-rooted flower that features fleshy stems, tough waxy dark green to bronze leaves and loose clusters (cymes) of single or double red flowers. Flowers reliably bloom throughout the growing season (May to October).
The BIG SERIES (F1 hybrids) is a recent seed-grown introduction from Benery Seed. Plants are noted for their early bloom, large flowers, and vigorous habit.
Plants typically grow up to 30-35cm tall. Flowers (5-7 cm diameter) appear in clusters 13-14 weeks after sowing - from May to frost.
