"Newry Blue" is a very good old Irish cultivar with upright spikes of the deepest blue.Superb garden perennial. Easy to grow.
Spikes of showy flowers develop from June to July above the attractive fine cut foliage which will naturally begin to wither as the flowers open.
ATTENTION: Every part of the plant is poisonous and you should wash your hands after handling it, but never the less it has always been in our cottage gardens and always will be.
Cut flowers last a long time in floral arrangements.
